  4. LineUp 1.0 was written using Symantec¬Æ's THINK C.  It was quickly developed using a "shell" project that I have worked up.  The shell itself supports screen saving (just dimming) and password protection (VERY limited -- for better password protection, try Lockout 1.0).  There are also a few shell options that are configurable, and I hope are self-explanatory (or at least NOT fatal).
